I ordered two servings of six calamari and chips on a Friday night from Uncle Lee's and found the prices to be reasonable. However, I was extremely disappointed when the first serving took 45 minutes to arrive and then was told by the waitress that they had forgotten about the second serving, causing an additional 5 minute delay. This was unacceptable, especially considering it was not a busy night with only two people dining in and two takeaway orders. There was no explanation or apology for the delay. To add to the disappointment, the calamari was overcooked and appeared rushed. I will not be returning to Uncle Lee's restaurant and takeaway.
We visited for the first time tonight and were very impressed. 4 individual meals, mongolian lamb, a lemon chicken that was actually crispy , chicken and cashew with beautifully cooked vegetables and a singapore noodles. We have eaten at a few different Chinese restaurants while on holiday this time and this place in Caloundra is easily the best. The staff were very friendly. Would love to come back again.
Caloundra seems to have plenty of Chinese restaurants and after a change of ownership, this is yet another one. It might be best to go as a group to make your own atmosphere - the restaurant has none! However the food is good and the menu fairly comprehensive. It is certainly not the flashiest restaurant in town but if it is a good Chinese feed you are after, Uncle Lee's will fit the bill. BYO alcohol.
I had dinner at this restaurant and was disappointed to find a limited menu with a minimum delivery fee of $60. The food was mediocre, with the special fried rice containing only one small prawn and very little meat. I suggest stepping up your game as there are many other businesses that offer better options.

Don't be put off be the street view. A delightfull dining experience on the inside. Extremely well priced menu, excellent portions and wonderful service. I have tried all the chinese restraunts in Caloundra and this must rate as the best value for money and great food.
I have often wondered where the wonderful chef from Golden Dragon restaurant went. Well I found him here at Uncle Lee's. I relived my past glorious meal of Mongolian Lamb, Honey King Prawns and Chicken with Cashews. Delicious as ever. I will be back for sure.
Great portion sizes and flavours at a very competitive price. As far Chinese food goes in Caloundra this is the best yet. This venue is clean and well presented and be sure to come with an healthy appetite. This is a venue worthy a visit.
Visited for dinner on Tuesday 27th June. Dined in and the service was excellent. Meals didn't take long to arrive and were of a generous portion. We'll be back soon. Give them a try if your a local or visiting.

Nice Chinese food - especially the sizzling dishes. Entrees are a bit on the small size, especially the spring rolls. BYO ok. Proper tablecloths on all the dining tables which adds a touch of class.
Called in Wednesday 22nd March for takeaway. Great choice of meals, reasonably priced and didn't have to wait long for it to be ready. You can dine in if you like.
