We have patronized this business many times previously and just tonight around 6pm as Fiesta Hermosa was winding down, my wife stopped in with my 2 year old daughter. We were over at the Birria taco spot that doesn 't have a restroom. My wife had known the business to be friendly the last time we came in so she thought we 'd be able to have my daughter use the restroom. There were a few patrons on the patio but the inside was empty. My wife politely pleaded with the older woman (was this you Kathleen? if my daughter who was on day 3 of potty trainer could please use the restroom. The woman angrily retorted, Absolutely not! Uncorked is a charming wine shop situated near the Hermosa Pier. They boast an extensive selection of wines across various price ranges and types, along with tastings and a gift shop. During my visit, I opted for a wine tasting that included a choice of 8 wines, allowing me to select 4 for $20. The tastings were served in small glasses, and I enjoyed sampling the wines at my own pace while referring to the tasting notes provided on the menu. I was excited to stop in at 6:30 pm on a Wednesday. Very busy, lively, nice music and cute space. After waiting unacknowledged for 15 minutes I finally asked if could taste a glass of red wine. Convo went downhill from there. I was handed a wine tasting list like I should know exactly what 's going on. She then glared at me impatiently waiting for my answer l. I had frequently walked by this place with the intention of trying the wine, as I noticed many locals enjoying the outdoor patio facing the street. On this visit, I specifically came to enjoy some live music from a talented local musician. My friend and I decided to try the wine flight, which we both found delightful. The shop also offers a few food options, which was perfect since we had skipped dinner and were in the mood for a small charcuterie board. Although I'm not a wine expert, I genuinely enjoyed the selection in the flight. It was a lovely evening on the patio, chatting with locals and their dogs as the sun set. I am so disappointed! Went in for a bottle of wine (I live in the neighborhood and had wanted to stop by and maybe do a tasting with my husband) ... however, we were not acknowledged at all, the two women behind the counter were not helpful or even interested in helping us find a nice Cabernet or asking us if we wanted a tasting. Rude. Apparently I don't look like I have taste, or can't afford what they're selling. Nevertheless, I spend a lot on wine and there are far to many other places that deserve my business. I will never go back. Two HUGE thumbs down.
This is a fantastic local spot in Hermosa Beach for a wine tasting experience. They offer a nice selection of small bites to enjoy alongside their diverse range of white, rosé, and red wines. There are several outdoor tables with umbrellas, and you can bring your dog with you. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, making the visit even more enjoyable. I will definitely be returning!
What a fun place. We stopped by on the way home walking our two dogs. The two ladies running it were lovely and very helpful with the wine flights. Dogs loved them too because: treats. Great live musician. We will definitely go back for more extensive visits very soon. Highly recommend.
Can 't believe it took me so long to visit this place! Came by on a Thursday evening and did a tasting while listening to live music and had a wonderful time. Great wines and atmosphere. May I suggest an Uncorked Riviera in the Village? I think it would do great!!!

I just tried calling about the live music tonight and was obviously hung up on. I thought about stopping by. But after reading the deplorable way they treat customers, I won't even bother stopping by...next business gets my money!
