We had mixed reviews here. Let me start by saying that we try a lot of Japanese restaurants. My wife is Japanese, so we’re tough critics. I would eat here again if we’re staying nearby but I’m not sure my family would. First, this is really more Asian fusion (Japanese Korean) than traditional Japanese food. The style of the food is not really entirely Japanese. Quality varies depending on what you order. I had the sashimi set and a mixed tempura. Both were delicious and the sashimi pieces were good size. The rest of the meal was not as well rated by my family. Chicken Udon was bland. Because of work and staying in this area I have eaten here twice the first time I wasn 't sure, this second time I think I have a good feeling enough to leave a review, I 'm going to leave a photo of me at the sushi counter taking a picture of what I see as what I believe is fresh fish look closely at the glass that covers the counter dirty and cloudy above the cooling unit and then inspect the fish, it is up for your discretion. The food and service were good, but I have to say that their sushi rolls have shrunk to half their previous size while remaining at the same price. I understand that prices have surged over the past four years and everyone is feeling the impact, but it’s disappointing. Remember the satisfying experience of taking a bite of sushi that would fill your mouth with delicious flavors? That's no longer the case here. Now, a single piece only fills half your mouth, which really detracts from the overall experience. To get the same quantity, you now need to order two rolls, effectively doubling your cost. It’s quite disheartening. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Uoyakutei is my favorite restaurant whenever I’m in the area. They offer fresh fish at reasonable prices, and there’s plenty of parking available, plus a welcoming atmosphere. I took my aunt there today for some Japanese food, and she was pleasantly surprised by the variety of vegetable dishes since she is vegan. As always, the food was DELICIOUS, even for these seemingly simple dishes.
I had a disappointing first experience at this restaurant. The prices were far too high for the food, especially given its remote location. The portion sizes were very small, and I felt that the staff didn't treat customers well, as they seemed more focused on chatting with other patrons. Overall, I was not impressed.

My girlfriend and I have been coming here for 3 years now. The food is amazing, we always enjoy the service and conversation with our waiters/waitresses, and the music and atmosphere is always very chill!

This unassuming red building houses a great meal, waiting for you to try. We had Udon and Teriyaki chicken, and it was all good. Fairly inexpensive and served quickly. No complaints, it was a nice meal.
