Well, this place is just a mix of things. The food was ok not great, but not terrible. The prices are about 20% higher than comparable restaurants. When you enter, you are expected to order at the counter, which is immediately followed with a tipping option. If you have ever waited tables, then you know to tip in cash at the table, so I never include the tip before the meal. And I am so glad I didn't do that here less because the food was not great, but because we never saw the waitstaff once. The cook brought out the meal. I enjoyed the filet mignon salad with homemade ranch dressing for $15.00. The salad was generous in size, and the portions of meat were sizable, especially if you order it medium rare. The filet was incredibly tender, and I managed to make two meals out of it. The meal also came with freshly baked rolls and honey butter. Everything here is made from scratch, and they offer a wide variety of delicious desserts. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!
Food was excellent and are large portions. Don't forget to ask for apple butter with your rolls. This place has a personality disorder. Does it want to be fast shiek farmhouse or table service? Whatever it is, getting the stuff you need to eat (napkins, butter, drink refills) requires getting a hold of someone which can be problematic and inconsistent.

Service was super. All staff were friendly and helpful. Food was just okay. Lacked flavor and seemed over processed and over cooked.
My absolute favorite spot across four states for fried chicken, and they serve the best hot sauce you can find anywhere!
