My friend and I both had a 3 course meal with alcoholic drinks. The homemade soup with homemade bread was our highlight. The main course was mushroom risotto and curry. Both tasted good and filled me up, but it was average. The dessert menu was very inviting and varied. Both desserts, cheesecake and crème brulee were very good. The drinks were well mixed, not too strong and full of flavor. Conclusion: highly recommended. Vegetarian options: Very tasty, but few dishes on the menu. Hence little choice for vegetarians. Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is up a flight of stairs and there is no elevator, so not suitable for wheelchair users.
What a beautiful experience. Food was amazingly priced (we came for lunch), and so delicious. It was out first time trying haggis and was pleasantly surprised. Treated ourselves to dessert too, which were all super yummy! We came on a weekday for lunch and it was well packed, rang ahead for a table and thankfully one was available. The service was fantastic, with the waitresses attentive and accommodating. Would highly recommend! Parking: Plenty of parking at the Tesco parking lot next door
Small restaurant with a feel of someone's house. Very intimate atmosphere. The food is traditional cuisine with a clear focus on local produce.
