First time at Valley SmokeHouse after multiple recommendations, and I was not disappointed! I ordered a normal poutine and donair egg rolls and it was probably the best poutine I have eaten in Pembroke/ Petawawa. The egg rolls were amazing! We were able to order through Facebook and the food was ready when we arrived. The restraunt itself is super clean, the staff member was very friendly, and best part: everything is fresh! I questioned how the meats and sauces were made, and all from scratch. Super impressed, found my new favourite spot!
Had a burger, Donair and Poutine. Burger seemed to be from the frozen supermarket places, Donair was ok, but only that the Pommes were pretty good, but the engraving was a type of package and consisted mainly of salt and color. disappointment, we would have gone better to the well-known chain restaurant nearby. We would have saved some money.
The burger and fries were made with fresh ingredients and cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, three guys from the Valley were smoking nearby, which really took away from the pleasant atmosphere at the picnic tables. If it weren't for their lack of consideration, it would have been a much nicer experience.
I absolutely love SmokeHouse! The food is delicious, the menu is fantastic, and the staff are super friendly. It's also incredibly clean. My personal favorites are the pulled pork poutine and the donair egg rolls, which come with an amazing homemade sauce!
Poutine was expensive for the size you get, toppings were minimal, pogo was from a grocery store, expected some fresh/homemade and was quite burned. Overall, would not return, would not recommend.
The last time I visited, I noticed a decline in quality. The large poutines only filled half of the container. This used to be the best place in town, but now we prefer to go elsewhere.
Donair was spot on, absolutely delicious!! The Donair sauce (sweet sauce) was crystalized and had a gritty texture. Couldn't really enjoy my without it
