My friend and myself had never been to Vasilis and decided to meet there for lunch. We both had the smashed avocado. It was delicious ! It was a substantial size, I think a whole avocado and lots of fresh fetta and gently cooked spinach with drizzles of oil. I just added pepper. My friends was the same. Unfortunately their coffee machine was on the blink today and by the time they had it fixed, I had ordered tea. I was very impressed with the warm atmosphere and friendliness of the staff. The bonus was checking out the plants on a nice day.
This restaurant is one of my go-to spots for coffee or brunch. The menu features simple yet delicious dishes made with high-quality, fresh ingredients. What sets this place apart from others is its unique setting - it is located in a garden and nursery, creating a charming atmosphere with lush greenery and rustic decor. I love coming here every few months to see the new plants they have on display. Additionally, they have a small shop at the back selling gardening supplies and crafts.
We had a wonderful lunch at this lovely restaurant last Sunday with our family. The service was excellent, with very friendly staff. The food was absolutely delicious! After our meal, we took a stroll through the garden center, which was a beautiful nursery. The relaxed atmosphere and helpful staff made it a great experience. We will definitely be returning!
My daughter I had a lovely brunch at this gorgeous cafe through the week. We were both very impressed with the food, the service the character of the building surrounds. My daughter also bought a great little outfit while in the garden shop. We loved the experience we had here would definitely return eat here again.

My friends I went for dinner there the food was mouth watering. The staff, chef Vasili were all friendly, funny welcoming..After dinner we danced the band Freedom were fantastic playing a variety of dance music . Great night . Highly recommend it. We are certainly going back.
Love this place. Really friendly staff and a great selection of meals. The food is consistently good and very tasty. Nice setting too, surrounded by plants from the adjoining nursery. A genuine Coburg institution.
A very nicely presented cafe/restraunt within a garden center, food and service is great and at a good price. Pick up some unique plants while you visit as slot of the flora can not be found in other nurseries.
The customer service at this restaurant is excellent. It is a wonderful place to grab a bite to eat in the cafe and then do some shopping in the Boutique Nursery. I will definitely be a regular customer!

Great coffee and lovely staff member helped me through the menu. It is nice to deal with staff who are not forever in a rush and take the time out to help a customer!
You will love this place! Amazing food! Amazing Vibe and aesthetic. Amazing friendly staff! 100% would recommend as one of Melbourne’s must try cafes!
