Food was good but disappointed that there were no specials. Service was mediocre. Iced tea was served without the server bringing or offering any sweeteners initially. When the reservation was made via Open Table, there was a notation that it was a special occasion (husband's birthday) but this was never acknowledged by the staff. I also saw our server sniff a cocktail shaker which he then used to prepare a drink for another customer. Overall, probably not a priority for us to return.
My wife had other reservations for Valentineâs Day at another restaurant but changed to Vein at the last minute. Iâm glad she did. We were also hesitant about going out altogether being that it would be a busy night and perhaps lacking service. But we were pleasantly surprised to have had a great dinner with equally great service. Canât wait to come back.
Food was above average but not outstanding. The clam appetizer was delicious but the osso bucco that we ordered was good but didn't wow Server was awesome except that he brought entrees out shortly after we received our app, which kinda sucked bc our entrees sat on the side for a bit as we finished our app. Overall, stars out of
Right in the middle of the SALT food complex. Vein has good drinks and tasty appetizers. Their main courses were good. If you like adventurous pasta, then you'll like Vein. Ambiance would've been rated higher if we weren't seated outdoors. It was a very chilly evening and were told no inside seating was available. Didn't request for outside either when we booked our reservation, but next time we will know better to specify.
We love this restaurant for its creative and delicious dishes. We are regulars because we are fortunate enough to live nearby. This has become our go-to spot for treating ourselves to a special meal during the week.
We had an excellent server whose suggestions were spot on! We were not disappointed with anything he suggested. Especially good was the grilled spanish tako with warabi, risotto funghi, and ribeye.
Excellent creative and tasty dishes. Weâre repeat customers because weâre lucky to live within walking distance. This has become our splurge meal when we feel we deserve it midweek. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The ambiance was great, but the food was underwhelming. I ordered a steak medium and it came to me well done. My partner ordered pasta, and the pasta was undercooked.
