We reserved days before we left Saint Luc at the restaurant off the hotel Bella Tola. To enjoy our last evening in and outstanding restaurant and we where looking foreworth all week to eat here. When we arrived at the restaurand they coundn't find...our reservation and just said that they coudnt help us and kicked us out. All other places where fully booked. We went back to the appartement and just ate what we could find since it was our last night and all shops where closed. We ate here twice as members of a small group staying at the hotel. The food was beautifully prepared, fresh and made with local ingredients. We chose from a set menu and still found the food choices to be quite good. Two of the unusual...appetizers we encountered were juice and vegetarian bagel. The juice was local and fresh and the bagel was just that, but with local cheese and roasted vegetables, really quite a nice appetizer. The main courses were excellent, and the desserts really delicious. If you are lucky you will be seated in the outer room with views to the mountains. It's a lovely setting.
Im September haben wir ein Mittagessen im Restaurant Chez Ida serviert, das Teil des Grand Bella Tola Hotels ist. Wir waren begeistert und es war wunderschön. Dies in Kombination mit einem exzellenten Service und einer unglaublichen Atmosphäre, die an die frühen 1900er Jahre erinnert. Sehr zu empfehlen für einen romantischen Aufenthalt! Der einzige Nachteil ist die schwierige Bergstraße, um dorthin zu gelangen. Es dauert mindestens 30 Minuten von Sierre und die Straße ist extrem schmal. Es ist jedoch Teil dieses einzigartigen Erlebnisses.
Dies ist ein alter Favorit (im Bella Tola Hotel), aber anscheinend hat es seit meinem letzten Besuch einen neuen Koch gekauft. Das Ergebnis war, dass wir eine wirklich wunderbare Mahlzeit imaginativ, gut ausgewogen und super gekocht hatten. Ich kann besonders die Crème Brûlée mit Foie Gras empfehlen.
This is an old favourite (in the Bella Tola Hotel), but it seems to have acquired a new chef since my last visit. The result was that we had a really wonderful meal imaginative, well balanced and superbly cooked. I can particularly recommend the...creme brulee with foie gras.
