my man, our hospitable, and I had a fabulous Sunday evening dinner in verjus. we enjoyed a relaxing time after the performance in a concert of the society for musical art just a few blocks away. the meal was spectacular, starting with a duck-food terrarium and a delicious beet salad. we all had the spectacular venison medallions in a red wein reduction and black burst. it was from this world!
My husband, our guest, and I had a fabulous Sunday night dinner at Verjus. We enjoyed a relaxing time after performing at a Society of Musical Arts concert just a few blocks away. The meal was spectacular starting with a duck foie gras terrine and a delicious beet salad. All of us had the spectacular venison medallions in a red wine reduction and black barley. It was out of this world!
I am writing this review with a few disclaimers: Firstly, it was a snowy Saturday night and the restaurant was almost deserted. Secondly, this establishment likely deserves a rating of 3 1/2 stars...

Verjus has consistently improved over the years. The ambiance is peaceful and elegant, the service is attentive and friendly, and the cuisine is exceptionally well executed.
