A fantastic and quality barbecue shop. Had the pleasure of enjoying a big lunch here; we ordered a second full rack of ribs! Welcoming, friendly, and spacious atmosphere. Their sauces were fantastic! Big Chief was our overall favorite but I also enjoyed their spiciest ones with the blueberry and chocolate undertones without being overbearing. The meats were fall of the bone, tender, and with the right amount of moisture. The corn bread cupcakes were a delight as well.
fabulous, high quality food, generous portions and brilliant, super friendly service! we enjoyed our brisket and pulled pork dishes very much. Top-notch brisket! the extra sauces were also great. the house made desserts were excellent and the light, baked cheesecake is to die. the best cheesecake I had in a restaurant. we will definitely come back and probably look for an excuse to come back to vernon so we can visit the station smokehouse.
what a great pub. we found it thanks to google recommendations and were thrilled. rindfleischbrisket is our discovery that we are looking for in other restaurants, but the taste we remember here will always be the basis for comparison. fantastic crew. very professional and friendly. the chef wanted to talk to us about our feelings. I am pleased to recommend this bbq.
we stopped a quick dinner at vernon. we have enjoyed the best grill in more than a dozen cities, including many in the southern usa. that's good as anyone we ate. the ribs are moist, delicate and have a...big taste. the award-winning chili is fabulous. spicy with an interesting and complex taste. the Slavic is right with an edgy basis. hein has offered great service. The candied bacon is the bomb here! Smoked wings were delicious with a lot of bark (use the sauces), onion rings are fantastic, brisket was en pointe. The coleslaw that came with the brisket fell a bit flat, as it was high in acidity but didn't taste like much. Service was great, and the pit master came out to touch base with guests during the meal.
the food was perfection. large, perfectly smoked brisket and pulled pork. loved trying all amazing BBQ sauces and everything is done in the house. I loved the owner bringing some hot sauces. the peanut butter slurry cake is a small piece of heaven.
Seriously the best! This is a true gem of Vernon. The food is incredible and so are the owners. My only complaint is, I love too many things on the menu and can never decide what I want. The candied bacon is a MUST.

Really good BBQ. The platter was great, and the pecan pie dessert was incredible!!!!!! Best pecan pie I’ve ever had, no joke!
