Tennis is back, baseball, soccer…Just opened Hamtramck Stadium Grandstand after decades of neglect. It’s beautiful! Hamtramck Parks is a new org working to revamp park from front to back! The stadium restrooms are next to be redone. The park is starting to be cleaned regularly, community Park clean ups are happening, volunteer events, and educational camps for kids. Hamtramck, it’s back. It’s time to come back to check this park again and see the transition.Also a stop on the Joe Lewis Green Way that’s coming to Metro Detroit!!

I booked this property on TripAdvisor without having read reviews. Many reviews mention Erik being a scammer charging extra on credit cards. I (thankfully) haven’t personally experienced this but will update my review if that changes.Pros+ close to downtown and lots of nearby food options+ reasonable price+ clean rooms+ felt safe; was given a personalized code to get into the buildingCons waited 30 minutes to be checked in despite arriving after check in (owner doesn’t stay at the property so we had to await his arrival) was told I had to keep the temperature at 72 because the thermostat affected other rooms hotel not clearly marked from the outside
