At VFW Post 3500, they have a fish fry on Fridays during Lent. They are also in the process of expanding their menu for Thursdays, featuring dishes like Polish-style kielbasa and potatoes, along with a lamb and beef stew each week. The bar is available as always, and thanks to recent renovations, the interior no longer has a cigarette smell, as smoking has been moved to a covered outdoor area.
The beer selection is impressively good and reasonably priced, with standard AB products alongside local craft brews such as UCBC and 4 Hands on tap during our last visit. Although I didn’t catch his name, a bartender at VFW Post 3500 was incredibly helpful. As an Amazon Delivery worker passing through the area, I needed to fill my flask with cold water. I stepped inside and asked for some water, and he generously filled it with ice-cold water on such a hot day. I truly appreciate his kindness.
During my visit, I observed that the restaurant mainly serves its regular customers. Unfortunately, one of these regulars accidentally backed into my car and then drove off. I reported the incident to the Richmond Heights Police, who informed me that they have received similar complaints about this establishment in the past.

The bartenders at the VFW are always friendly and welcoming. They've successfully adapted to COVID-19 precautions by conducting temperature checks for patrons. Great job, VFW 3500!
