Sunday breakfast anyone? I don't get out in Scarborough too often, so we decided to try Vi Pei. Judging by the name, I wasn't really sure what to expect. Parking is a little funky here, so if you're parking out front, I recommend backing in. . We were greeted warmly and seated. Their coffee is pretty good...may be because I just woke up, but either way, I had 2 cups. My mom got the Ham, Cheese and Spinach Eggs Benedict with homefries and salad. I got the Brie Stuffed Brioche French Toast. She thinks it's weird to get salad with eggs, but that's how brunch rolls! Both dishes were huge! The hollandaise sauce is nice and creamy and they don't hold back on the veggies. My French toast was fant...
We went for brunch on Sunday around noon and had to wait in line for about 10 minutes before getting a booth for 4. The food was decent, not amazing, but my family loved it. They raved about their eggs and French toast, which was adorable to see. I didn't eat much myself because I don't like onions, and my potatoes were loaded with them. I ended up giving them to my cousin and was hungry a few hours later. Normally I leave brunch feeling full, but this time I didn't. Despite that, the prices were reasonable, the service was friendly and efficient, and now my family has a new spot for brunch dates. As long as they pick me up from a subway station - I'm not making the whole trip by TTC!
Thank you for an amazing experience today at breakfast! I am so happy! Extremely pleased with the food and was provided excellent customer service throughout. (I wish I got the hostesses name because she was great . We were greeted at the door and was able to choose where we sat. Our order was taken very promptly and the food arrived in no time! Very fresh! Small restaurant with a very cozy setting. I ordered Eggs Nova (salmon Benedict and my mom ordered the brunch combo platter. Most reasonably priced breakfast I’ve had in a LONG time and a great Bennnnny! I finished everything and it was so much foood! My mom and I will be back very soon. Thank you again. :
I visited this restaurant for dinner on April 25th. We ordered the fried calamari, steak and lobster special, and seafood medley. The seafood was fresh and the service was excellent. Our server even made a special drink for us that wasn't on the menu. I have now rated this restaurant 5 stars because of the great job they did. I will definitely be returning for more. It's a hidden gem in Scarborough. We also tried the brunch combo platter and the eggs nova, both of which were generous portions at good prices with nice service. Absolutely amazing! The presentation, the quantity , the quality. Ordered the three course dinner(Home delivery) 10oz Angus Steak, Fried Calamari with Chipotle Aoli and Bourbon Cheesecake. The steak was perfectly cooked to a medium rare, even the vegetables were delicious! Never have I actually wanted to eat my vegetables The calamari was firm and crisp as they should be. The cheesecake a delightful end to this perfect meal.
Great little place!. Went for brunch for the first time today. Very small and unnoticeable along Kingston, but worth the visit! Incredible service, all the staff were very friendly. Great selection and very good food. Will definitely be back next time we visit the city. I had the potato pancakes, which could have used a bit more seasoning, but everything else was delicious. All four others were very pleased with their meals.
If you are looking for food that is FILLING and DELICIOUS, LOOK NO FURTHER!! Vipei has become a regular go to spot that has absolutely stolen my heart and stomach. I am still working through the menu but their breakfast, pastas and even their salads are so damn amazing. The best part is they even have breakfast specials, it is breakfast w a twist at great prices. If you're ever in the area- definitely worth the stop!!
Went for breakfast with my parents today. Friends have raved about this place, finally had an opportunity to check it out. So good! Potato pancake, crab cake, eggs Bennie, fresh fruit salad, and salad! Price is a higher than a diner, but it isn’t a diner, so it’s to be expected. So good! First time going to this place. Went for brunch to try a new restaurant. The service and food were very good. Will definitely return. They have Prix Fix Monday to Friday with very reasonable prices
