I absolutely love this place! It never disappoints and comes closest to my mom's cooking in both flavor and style. I've tried other restaurants when Victory isn’t available on Uber Eats (I really wish they'd join Grubhub), and I always regret it. What I appreciate most about Victory is that their food is delicious without being greasy or overly oily. The quality of their food is consistently amazing; it’s always good, not hit or miss. I probably order from them too often, but it’s just so tasty! I typically place an order every other week. So, if you're on the fence about trying them, definitely give it a shot. Their food is truly excellent, and the portions are generous too—it usually lasts...
The food is consistently cooked to perfection! I usually order the chicken cassava jollof rice, and occasionally grab some coco bread as well. The staff is always friendly, and one time, a lady even brought my food to my car for me. As long as this place remains open and the service stays outstanding, I will keep coming back. Their stew and efo is soooooo good and it’s spicy which i love. They give you three choices of meat. I chose fish, beef, and chicken. You literally can’t beat that at any other african food spot. You should also try their cassava leaf it’s also great as well. I hope this helps anyone that wants to try this spot.
I absolutely love this place! Even though I’m seven months pregnant, I’ve been a fan of cassava since I was a child, and I can confidently say this is one of the best places I've ever ordered it from! The cassava leaf was decent, but it lacked enough sauce. Considering the price, I believe customers deserve more value for their money. I’ll stick with African Palace in Gaithersburg, MD, where the food is delicious and the portions are generous. I won’t be returning here!
The food had an amazing aroma that had me eagerly anticipating my meal! I absolutely love the designer stew at Victory Kitchen. I've visited other restaurants in the area, but none can compare. The meat is delicious, and the stew is a perfect balance of spicy and sweet.
Victory Kitchen, my favorite African restaurant, truly deserves all the praise. They serve the best cassava leaf I've ever tasted. I've dined at many restaurants in the DMV area, but none match the authentic home-cooked flavor they offer.
