I made a reservation for 7:30 PM on Saturday, August 15, and received a confirmation call later that day. My date and I arrived promptly at 7:30 PM and were greeted by a staff member who asked if we had a reservation. I confirmed, saying it was for Mike, and he pointed to a table behind us, indicating we could sit there. There was only one other table occupied by a party of six.

I had a rather unfortunate experience...and i really wanted to like this place more than I ended up doing, b/c it 's nice to have a hip little restaurant BYOB in H town. Came here with one other person on a weeknight. Waitress was really cool and friendly. We ordered 4 dishes altogether to share 2 of them came out in a reasonable time...but when we finished those, we ended up waiting a good 20 25 minutes for the rest of our meal. We were provided no reason or explanation...only a quick sorry and we were the only people in the restaurant. I just feel like with such a small restaurant when you just have one table you could at least come out and apologize and explain the reason for the wait and...
The atmosphere was lovely, with great music and an excellent meal. However, the service left something to be desired. Our waitress attempted to take an extra 30% from our bill, which raised some concerns for us. My dinner date noticed this issue and brought it up with the waitress instead of escalating it to the owner, as he has experience running restaurants and sensed something was off. Unfortunately, my blind date didn't go well, but that won't stop me from returning to this wonderful establishment.
The food was excellent, and the customer service was outstanding! We noticed a small item was missing from our curbside order, and Vida took the initiative to deliver it to our doorstep, saving us another trip outside. Truly impressive!

I visit this charming restaurant with my wife several times a year, and it's my favorite place for a nice dinner. The food is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I enjoy gathering here for a lovely meal.
The takeout family taco meal is fantastic! Taco Tuesday will never be the same again! This place has a lovely family-oriented vibe, and we've also enjoyed several meals on site over the summer.
The food was fantastic! Our favorites were the chimichangas, the ahi tuna bowl, and the filet. The mixers were delicious and versatile, especially if you bring your own tequila, rum, or vodka.
Is this restaurant open for business? Every time I visit the Kettle next door, I see construction workers busy doing something inside.
