Rosa's has been purveying pizza since 1975, so the menu tells me. The guy helping us was friendly, and we settled on four different slices for $16.50, including two plain slices. There were a lot of options to choose from! The slices were steaming hot and generously sized. I tried a plain slice and a lasagna slice. The lasagna was messy due to the heavy toppings so I had to resort to using a knife and fork. But hey, no skimping! Yum. The plain cheese slice was also extremely cheesy though lighter with the sauce and featured a thin crust. Diners appeared to be a mix of solo folks, friends, and families. Good spot!
My weekly Friday pizza go to spot! Ever since my favorite pizza place, Polito's closed pre pandemic I have tried almost every single pizza place around Astoria, and this one Rosa's takes the cake. I usually order their Sicilian pizza, extra doughy which I love, with mushrooms and pepperoni, and it is delicious!!!I just hope they keep the same amount of sauce and cheese, because lately a lot of other pizza places are not putting enough of either, causing the pizza to be dry. Please keep everything the same! Also, their margarita pizza is delicious. Heavy crust, but so good and the sauce they use is tatsy!!!!
i have eaten here many times their pizza is very good their food is very good last time they were no longer serving coffee that changedVegetarian options: pizza is vegetarian you can add your choice or see if they have options already furnished such as spinach ricotta granma margarita vodka ziti eggplant mushrooms or plain mozzarella or sicilian slice
They suck. Their pizzas taste like cardboard. Service is horrible don't waste your time or money. Wish I could give a 0 for the horrible customer service I received when I was trying to place an order. They hung up and was totally rude.
My lunch was delicious!! I got the Cesar chicken slice. Only one star taken away because they have NO LOCK IN THE BATHROOM. Like embedding, it will not be able to use in peace without anyone breaking in!!!! Never seen
Awesome pizza. There is another place across the street, not nearly as good. This place has lines out the door, and now I know why. You need to visit this place, I will be back for sure.
The food is great I love the wings they are great, they make them very crispy, which is amazing, they also supply their food at a decent time
The food is amazing especially the pastas they also have good service and they deliver the food at a reasonable time.
Best pizza In the neighborhood. Eat in or take out, square or round pies. You won’t find a better slice.
