This place used to be fantastic, but their choices in both sweet and savory have dwindled and what little is left has degraded. Used to have the best soda fountain anywhere! Gone. Their sandwiches used to be so delish and huge. Now, a pathetic shadow oftheir former glory. And shrunken in size. The staff used range neutral to very nice in attitude, but now are surly toneutral. This place was never an artful place. It was always an industrial , commercial, bakery. But it used to be good,serviceable. And priced about right. But it 's as if they are stealing now, cheating, defrauding. They are now selling cheap,congealed grease all tarted up.
Excellent experience! I rely on what well-known brands offer, and this chain bakery does not disappoint. Their menu is consistently varied, so I never get bored. In fact, it ranks as my second favorite among standard chain options, with coffee taking the top spot. The croissant blossom filled with strawberry, chocolate, and cream cheese was delightful, and I also enjoyed my usual almond croissant. The place is very clean, and the customer service is friendly and helpful. I will definitely be returning!
Eating at Vie de France is a bit like dining in Paris the outside dining cafe where you can people watch while enjoying your food and refreshments. The only thing missing is the Seine River. Unfortunately the Seine is replaced with a parade of a variety of cars and the outside patio furniture is unstable. Even a touch of arrogance is in the air. The tomato basil soup was flavorful and delicious and came with a baguette. The baguette was unbelievable, light and crunchy
The restaurant is rather pricey, and the food is only average. They should prioritize improving their service. Dominique could benefit from some training and coaching. The pastries are the highlight here—they're quite good—but the sandwiches are pre-packaged rather than made fresh. Overall, everything feels a bit overpriced for the quality, but sadly, there aren't many other options in the area. Good luck!

The place is not cheap with average food. So, try and make it up on service. Dominique needs some training and coaching. Pastries are why one goes to this place?good and the sandwiches are not freshly made but come plastic wrappedcasings. Overpriced for the quality but that is all the Village has to offer. Good luck!

This charming little French bakery has a delightful selection of desserts that all looked amazing. We plan to try some on our next visit. We ordered a tuna sandwich and French onion soup, and both were delicious.
