I am an avid Bahn Mi consumer. Having just moved to a new city in NC where there aren?t any restaurants that make Bahn Mi I knew what I wanted first thing when I got to Roanoke. The location was super easy to find for visitors and once I opened my door the brilliant smells of Pho broth was in the air. So right off the bat I knew Viet Sub was a winner. One of the best fast casual Vietnamese restaurants in Virginia. My wife and I stopped in and enjoyed their spring rolls, ???? pho, and their Banh Mi. I tried the Beast version of the Banh Mi with Vietnamese ????ham, honey glazed pork, barbecue pork and ???? chicken. The bread was soft on the inside and crisp on the outside. They also have drinks for sale. They also have ? handicap accessible parking ?????, ???? restrooms, and seating.
I think Viet Sub makes the best Banh Mi I?ve ever had. I always get the Honey Glazed Pork and an order of Fresh Rolls! My husband LOVES their pho! The family running the restaurant are so wholesome and welcoming. We are delighted to have found somewhere to meet our Vietnamese cravings close to home! I recommend both dining in and ordering online super easy and seamless!
Prices are fantastic, owners are very nice, patient, and helpful, and most importantly, the food is amazing!!! Viet Sub has the best Banh Mis within miles, and their spring rolls are great too. This was my first time trying Vietnamese food, so it was also my first visit to this restaurant. I ordered the Banh Mi BBQ Pork Sandwich and a small bowl of Pho soup. I had a great time dining outside with my dad, father-in-law, and uncle. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future!
best roanoke has to offer. limited menu, although delicious. the outdoor terrace was an option for which I went, although oncoming traffic with the hot weather did not make everything so great. although it may be a more accurate experience to eat pho in vietnam.
