The food here is always wonderful. I recommend the Special Hilltop Vietnamese BBQ Duck and the Beef Salad. Delicious. Service is friendly, but very disorganised. We didn't get served drinks tonight until we had almost finished our meals. I do recommend dining here just because the food is so good, but my tips to you are:1. Order soup. That way you will not go thirsty while you are eating. From my experience with a Vietnamese family I was friends with when I grew up, soup is served instead of drinks anyway.2. If you need to be served well or your night will be ruined, find somewhere else.3. The food is not as good if you order it as take-away (as I have done many times before), but it will el...
Came here last night spontaneously as we were on the way home. Was so surprised when I opened the door and it was packed with people! We didn't like our luck on getting a table but the bent over backwards to make us up a table. I told me husband that there wasn't many people eating that there must be a massive wait, but we were served very fast and the waitress was amazing with my 7 year old who was having a hard time with the noise due to all the people talking. I was surprised again when the bill was soo small. So happy to have found this place again a after 10 years and will definitely be going back. Thanks guys.
Since its bit of a drive I've not been to the HillTop for over 12 months, went there tonight after a bit of a mix up after receiving another restaurants flyer in the post that looked the same (previous owners I believe, re-opened up in competition with people they sold their business to, which is quiet dishonest! . Anyway I totally Agree!!, the New owners and chef's have just stepped up the mark in the quality of food 100%. Really enjoyed the quality of the food its just better than it was before. Definitely going to start going back regularly like I have over the years!! Well done
How good is Vietnamese. Great food. Ordered the BBQ duck, Satay Chicken, hot and sour soup and an entre laksa. The duck was fantastic. Great flavour and a nice crunch to the skin. Hot and sour soup was good hard to do it wrong. The food at this restaurant is fantastic. My absolute favorite dish is the salt and pepper oysters, but other standout options include the BBQ quail with chili, BBQ duck, and fish with ginger and shallots. Please note that the prices listed on the takeaway menu on this website may be outdated, such as the BBQ duck being listed at $16.80.
Excellent food at this restaurant and reason for regular return. Entrees are of a nice amount and all delicious. Fantastic variety and quality in the mains so selection is very hard. Staff super friendly and provide a rubber band for my large beard (ha). Don’t miss out, just by the entrance to the mall.<br/
Even better now under the new management. Both lunch and dinner menu are pretty much the same as before. But they cook even better. And they offer additional noodle bar menu which also surprised me in a good way. The service is more professional now. I have visited it 4 times this week already. Haha
This restaurant is always a favorite for our family. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The service can be a bit slow at times, but the delicious food more than makes up for it. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to our friends. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I dine here frequently and am always satisfied. The food is of good quality, there is a great selection, and their take-out service is reliable. I have never dined in the dining room so I cannot speak to that aspect.
