I was very disappointed with the Christmas morning buffet at this restaurant. Most of the food, including the bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, and scrambled eggs, was cold. The 'barista made coffee' that was advertised took 15-20 minutes to arrive each time. I couldn't understand why the buffet was priced so much higher than the normal breakfast buffet, as the only additional items were baked ham, different breads, and fruit mince pies. The only redeeming qualities were the pastries (though they ran out quickly) and the friendly staff who were doing their best on a busy morning.
My wife ordered the waffles from the menu and they were overcooked and not worth the money paid at this establishment! The pancakes my friend and I ordered were also disappointing, being small and lacking flavor. However, the coffee and staff were excellent. I don't think the buffet was worth the $39.00 I paid. Will I return?
Booked on the promise of a protein bonanza and they delivered. The beef and pork were superb. And value for money astounding. And all this topped by friendly, attentive and efficient staff. Not what we were expecting from a hotel, but the Hilton -should have know better. Will make this a staple for our Brisbane time.
Everything was excellent apart from two issues 1. The quality of live music team which I believe is substandard. 2. Few catering staff lacked empathy and emotions; This could be because they were so overworked. But most of the waitresses were very good and friendly. I gave a tip too

We enjoyed a fantastic dinner at Vintaged Bar Grill. The service was top-notch, with all the staff being very friendly and attentive. The steak we had was delicious.
It’s in the Hilton hotel feels like a cafeteria setting average or below value. Steak was prepared well. Salad was basic.
Service was rather slow, but acceptable. The prices were quite a bit higher than I remembered.
