If I could give Viona's Italian Restaurant more than five stars, I absolutely would. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a culinary adventure that would leave me craving for more. This place is an absolute gem that every food lover must experience. The star of the show was undoubtedly the Penne Bolognese. I can confidently say that it's the best I've ever had – the pasta cooked to perfection, the meaty, rich Bolognese sauce enveloping every twist and turn of the penne. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and I found myself savoring every mouthful, not wanting it to end. It's the kind of dish that dreams are made of. Next up was the Lasagna, and it was nothing short of spectacular....
My husband and I visited this restaurant for a date night, and we had a fantastic experience! The service was excellent, and we ordered the chicken parmesan and fettuccine alfredo. Both dishes were absolutely delicious! Our server informed us that everything is made in-house from scratch, which impressed us even more. We loved it so much that we can't wait to return—it's officially our new favorite spot!
I can not say enough good things about Viona’s! The food is amazing, the owner and staff are the best and the restaurant is always super clean. I have been catering Viona’s every year for a staff luncheon at my children’s school. They are great to work with and the food is always hot and fresh. Thank you Viona’s for everything you do! My partner loved the salad and the sauce on Niki's special pasta. I really enjoyed the light sauce and fresh vegetables on my chicken diavola. Both lunch portions were just $12, which included salad and rolls. The table linens were also a nice touch. We will definitely be back!
This restaurant is truly a hidden gem in old downtown Overland Park. The food was outstanding, and the prices were quite reasonable for the area. Be sure to make a reservation, as it's a small place, but they do offer outdoor seating. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
