I love Italian cuisine and have had the good fortune to sample several regional variations across Italy. The one thing that makes it authentic is when they focus on making the most of locally available ingredients. Vita Bella carries on this tradition beautifully. I was pleased to see so many locally sourced ingredients and wines on the menu. In spite of the fact that it was a busy Saturday night, the service was friendly and each course came out quickly. I was glad I ordered a fairly small appetizer (escargot) as my pasta serving was quite large. Vita Bella has a nice ambiance, professional service and excellent quality Italian food. On a Saturday night we didn't need a reservation. Our server outlined the numerous specials for the evening, but my husband and I both chose pastas from the regular menu. They were both excellent and had great flavours. The prices are amazing for the quality of the food; you'd easily pay 50% more for the same dishes in Vancouver. Portions are fairly large; neither of us finished our portions. The only negative is the small and narrowly-focused wine list; when we come again we will bring our own bottle and pay the $15 corkage fee.
My wife and I are regulars at the Vita Bella. We celebrated Valentine's Day at the Vita Bella. John was our server and he provided excellent service. My wife enjoyed the Lobster Ravioli special and she stated that it was fabulous. I tried the Lamb Ossobuco and it just melted in my mouth. So many great flavours. We really enjoy the Vita Bella Bistro and we try to go about every two months. This is the best Italian bistro in Chilliwack so give it a try.
Me and my family have ate here a few times now, what i had was alright nothing great , husbands food was MEH ..My thing is it's quite pricey, and it is the first "upscale" italian place that i have been to that does not serve free bread with olive oil and balsamic , when you have those kinda prices it should be a given Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
A wonderful menu, with plenty of allergy friendly options. I definitely appreciate the effort they have put into their gluten free options. Consistently delicious meals made with fresh ingredients. The service is top notch. Don't let the exterior of this building fool you , this restaurant is well worth a visit!
I have eaten here a few years ago and found it tobe very good Italian. 5 star quality of food and quantity, Small portions so if your a large man it is probably not enough food. The food is very good though and would sate most appetites.
The food is terrible: tasteless and poorly prepared. The menu offering is ordinary but the quality and preparation lacks. The place is noisy and relies upon nearby businesses who have few options at lunch.
I had the stuffed pork loin. Excellent also the carrot soup. Having to eat gluten free I was surprised at the large number of options including pastas. Will be back next trip. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Delicious pasta, great service & menu selection --wonderful wine. Early evening dining at 4pm as we had a guest to drive to the airport. Good timing for us.
