This is the most legit old school pizza joint in Vancouver. Family run with great service. Thick delicious pizza with quality ingredients. Feels like a throwback to a 70's style parlour with decor to match. But you're probably taking it out anyway (or delivery) and frankly I love the vibe in the place. If thin crust New York style pie is your jam then this may not be your spot but if you prefer deeper, more chunky pizza this is the best local place I've found. Don't ever change Viva Sue!
This is the best pizza we have discovered in Burnaby. They are very generous with both the cheese and the toppings. While I was waiting for my takeout order, the owner showed me the premium ingredients they use. We tried all four of their specialty pizzas and they were all fantastic! When I mentioned that I like to add my own cold anchovies at home, he insisted that I take the ones they have in stock--they were excellent.
We tried this pizza (delivery) and it wowed the family. We now only order from this place. If you love pizza, try the Super Sue!! Thick cheese, delicious crust, the toppings go right to the edge. Just perfect! Even our fussiest eater loves Viva Sue! I’d take a picture but it’s already gone. Highly recommended!!

Hubby and I have been looking for a great pizza place near home and this is definitely it! Great old school pizza- good quality ingredients- generously topped- golden crunchy crust- such a treat. We will definitely be back-many times.

Best pizza in a long time. Crust was perfectly done, lots of toppings, delicious flavors. Clean, basic seating with only 2 tables, friendly staff. Large pizza fed 4 adults easily.
