La Roque-Gageac is a beautiful region. The extended tour requires a car and a fair to mark the 2.5 hours of road from Bordeaux. Many places for lunch or dinner between Roque-Gageac and neighbouring villages. Walking is also good with well marked trails. Recommend canoeing or kayaking as another way to enjoy the view.
