My husband and I went to Vivola Express and ordered the classic Italian and the spicy meatball pepp. We were asked if we wanted it like the menu and I asked them to make it however they would recommend. Brett jazzed up both sandwiches for us… and… it was AMAZING!! I’ve been searching for the best meatball sub for so long and I have finally found it! My husband also loved his sandwich! What a hidden gem! Tucked away slightly off of a major route that I regularly travel, I stopped into this place on the recommendation of my boss. I was not disappointed. This place feels less like a restaurant and more like you're just going to a friend's house to get a really good sandwich. Jimmy John? Never heard of her. This is my new favorite sandwich shop. EASILY. It is entirely possible that these are the best sandwiches in the STL area.
My first time there today with work mates…I had the Brett's favorite and it was very likely one of the best sandwiches I have ever had The guys behind the counter are fun and engaging and even offer suggestions with us testament to the service and the atmosphere. This place is now very high on my favorite sandwich shops in St Louis Thank you guys!
The GOAT OF SANDWICHES! Don’t even look at going to anywhere else! If this place was on THE HILL, every one of those wannabe sandwich places would be out of business besides Evoldis! When you get there ask for Brett and ask him to make you something good, it doesn’t matter what he makes it will be awesome!

I got the classic sandwich on the garlic cheese bread, it was one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. The deli for your meal is freshly sliced in front of you and the three guys working were very friendly. 100% recommend going here.
Absolutely amazing! Highest quality sandwich I have ever had. Get the hot beef sandwich, you won't regret it! Also, the meatballs are incredibly tender, so can't go wrong there!!
Typically pretty busy during the lunch rush, but the food is more than worth it. Always nice to find local spots like this with great food.
Love this place. Can have long lines at lunch but it's worth it. Amazing sandwiches.
