We made a reservation for the first time at this restaurant tonight based on a friend's recommendation. However, upon arrival, we were met with an unfriendly attitude. There was no smile or greeting, just a clear indication that we were not welcome. After a 5-minute wait, we were finally seated and my husband requested poppadoms while waiting for our wives to return from the restroom. We were informed, with an unfriendly tone, that we could not have poppadoms until we ordered our main dishes. This was not the usual practice at Indian restaurants where we have dined before. Despite expressing our readiness to order, the waiter insisted that we must first order mains before receiving poppadoms...
We decided to try this restaurant, but we regretted it. We can't comment on the food because we didn't get to eat. If you're looking for a miserable Saturday night after a long week of work, you've come to the right place. The young waiter who showed us to our table did not seem happy to be there. When we asked for poppadoms, he told us we had to order our mains first, citing company policy. We've dined in many restaurants and have never encountered this rule before. It didn't make sense to us, so we decided to leave. If a restaurant can't provide service with a smile and friendly staff, something is wrong. We will not be returning.
My husband and I visited voujon lounge yesterday for the second time. We ordered from the banqueting menu which is excellent value for money. The food was just as delicious as we remembered, the service was excellent. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated, with a well stocked bar. There is a V.I.P area and a function room upstairs to hire. It is very clean, and we will definitely be returning. If I was being picky I would suggest they offer tap water with your meal as other restaurants do.
I recently went to Voujon Lounge for takeout and ordered the mixed combination meal which included chicken jalfreize, Indian garlic chilli chicken, egg fried rice, chips, Keema Naan, poppadom, side sauces, and salad, all for less than £15. We have eaten here 5 times in the last month. Feel really safe here with all rules regarding Covid being applied. Eating area well laid out and well lit, which is important to us.Main factor though is that each meal we have had has been superb, with fast efficient service , together with friendly staff. Oh and the prices are very competitive.
Visited with colleagues previously, and with family recently. I never used to think it looks like much from the outside but the food is to die for. Staff are always so friendly and accommodating, food is gorgeous! The deal they have on to is worth travelling miles and more, no taste or quality compromised. Thank you!
The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great, the prices were reasonable, the staff were fantastic and provided excellent service. Thank you Fonzie for taking such good care of us tonight. It was a wonderful evening and I look forward to returning.

Brother uses this place regularly for take aways. We had a family take away and i must say the food and delivery service is excellent. We shall be ordering from here again.
