Any trip I make to Adelaide starts with a drop into the Central Market Food Court and Vung Tau, it's a cheap and cheerful stop that I always approach with great anticipation whenever I head to SA.The only thing for me on the menu is the Pho, and it is always magnificent. This is not a flash place it is just a simple hawker style stop for the best Pho in Adelaide. Just to prove how good it is a local friend who is a foodie had never tried it, once I introduced him to it he has become completely hooked!!
I was very pleasantly surprised with my "number 8". It was fresh and delicious. I will definitely be coming back to sample the other dishes on the menu. I didn't expect much but greasy fast food court rubbish, but the dish I got was so fresh, crispy and flavourful!! Well done.
Had a sneaky Monday lunch with some work mates. Ordered the chicken pho which was outstanding. However the serves could do with a larger serving of herbs, sprouts and chili. Excellent broth, huge sizes and excellent value for money. Will return!
So many people have been coming here for 20 plus years. Great value, excellent food. Good, friendly service by the owners. A real gem. We eat there every chance we get. Recently had a decor facelift.
