My wife has picked up food twice from the Lagrange location in the past month. Both times she has had issues with the staff. The first time the staff said she couldn't order to go because they were tired after a big rush came through on a Saturday. So she had to drive to Shelbyville to get our food made. Then today on her way home she decided to stop an grab breakfast. She said the male staff was very nice but the female staff were rude. They demanded that she not sit at the booth by the door because she was getting a to go order. She said that only 5 other customers were in the store. So she didn't see why this would be an issue but apparently it was a big deal to them. It's a huge inconven...
Our server was fantastic, but unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The floor was absolutely filthy! I sat at the bar and was appalled by the state of the food prep area and the mess all over the floor. Throughout my visit, the manager was shouting out instructions, which was quite distracting. The menu was quite limited, and the food didn’t taste good. On the plus side, the service was quick and the staff were really friendly.
The food was disappointing. The omelet was broken, and it didn’t include the onions and cheese I requested. The hash browns were overcooked and too hard. I was given sweet tea instead of the unsweetened tea I asked for, and I received white toast instead of wheat. I thought that by clearly stating my preferences, I would get what I wanted, but that wasn’t the case. I won't be dining there again.
Food is always fantastic. It’s clean in there and the crew is nice. The manager of that Waffle House is my favorite! She’s always helping her employees and greeting every guest that comes in and goes out of her way to make sure everyone has a good experience. My favorite Waffle House.

It took the kid cooking my sausage hashbrown bowl fifteen minutes because he cooked the ingredients one at a time.
People were wonderful! Food was good. Establishment is filthy. Bathrooms were out of order.
Great service, even for carryout! I was very pleased with my to-go order.
