My dad ordered me a wagamamas takeway this evening Which was very kind of my dad He's the best dad ever And I have the besr mum ever too When I ate it was very delicious I really enjoyed every taste of it I know it was spicy but I stil enjoyed it which is the most important part I can handle a little spice in it I was only little bit spicy it was not too spicy which was good I think it just how it is I think just how you do your takeways But don't worry I still liked your food no matter if it's spicy or not I'm being a good boy and I'm going to respect how it because I understand how long it must have took you to cook it Because I'm going to keep this review kind and lovely and not leave one...
Allegedly Wagamama わがまま is Japanese for self-indulgent , self-centred , “picky”, “fussy”, disobedient , wilful or “thinking about yourself and your own needs instead of others”. Some define it to mean “naughty child”. Their philosophy is said to be based on kaizen which means continuous improvement . We went to the Wagamama in Sevenoaks for our Valentine’s lunch. We come here often, and really enjoy it every time! Sadly, this evening was a completely different experience and we are reluctant to return! I understand places get busy, I work in hospitality myself and have sympathy for busy periods and how it does get stressful. I must say, the girl who was seating/hosting was lovely and really helpful, but the other interactions with staff were not so great. Rudeness and short/ snappy answers from staff is something I will never understand or sympathise with. I came here yesterday and back again today it was that nice. The service is very fast, the servers are incredibly attentive and the food was fresh and tasty at healthy calorie ranges. The food came quickly and the cocktail was delicious. The children’s menu provided exactly what all children like in terms of food and was perfect for their tastebuds (not over flavoured). I came yesterday as a date night with my partner and found a 2 seater intimate seating table which was lovely and tonight with my 4 year old at the larger tables where families were sat. Lunched there with friends. The starter dishes were fine, but the yaki udon was dire. Wife thought hers was vegetarian there was so little protein. Mine had a strange taste, the veg seemed overcooked. A poor plate of food. I’ve been eating at Wagamama in London since the mid 90’s, first time I’ve used the one in Sevenoaks. Had we seen the other poor reviews we would have eaten elsewhere.
Today was awful. We sat outside because of the weather. The waiters didn’t seem to appreciate the fact we wanted to sit outside… cutlery slung on the table asked for drinks which didn’t turn up we felt abandoned. Last time we came here the guy wearing stripy trousers gave us an amazing service tho so pheraps it’s just the people on todays shift.
Wonderful food! Lots of options to choose from, vegan, vegetarian and allergen free. My favourites are the crispy chilli mushrooms, king oyster mushroom skewers,mixed mushrooms buns, and the Karen burosu ramen. Highly recommend!
