Terrible service. After ordering online I then found out it would take 1hour 50 minutes to deliver. Understandable it will be busy on a Saturday, but that’s a long wait. After almost 1hour 15 minutes I decided to call to see if it would be quicker if I collected. The gent who I spoke to was quite evasive on the timings but eventually stated that a guaranteed time I could collect to make sure my food would be ready would be about 2hrs 15 minutes after ordering. I decided to cancel my order and after telling me he would cancel the gent then hung up on me while I was still talking! I rang back and he stated that I had sounded quite heated (or words to that effect) and that’s why he had hung up....
After reading some reviews, I was a bit hesitant to try this place, but most of the negative feedback was about delivery times, so I opted for pickup instead. A friend recommended this Chinese restaurant, and I’m so glad I did—I won’t be going anywhere else now. The Cantonese Shredded Chicken is incredible, and the special fried rice and noodles are fantastic as well. Everything we’ve tried has been delicious, and you won't experience that unpleasant “post-takeaway” feeling since the food isn't greasy at all! Don't let the negative reviews deter you; give it a try for yourself!
Never again, we ordered online, clearly stating an allergy. Stated 80 mins for delivery, waited 90mins, nothing, rang restaurant, said chef had mixed up order so recooking. Delivered 20 mins later, opened to find allergy ingredient in food. Rang again, another delivery 10 mins later stating that they had 50 orders that night and chef thought the allergy info only related to one part of the order! Food pretty bland, but somehow DH has had upset stomach today. Will be going back to different local takeaways.
I wish I had checked the reviews before placing my order. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes to collect my food, even though I was initially told it would be ready in 40 to 45 minutes. The food was at best mediocre, and I ended up throwing away about three-quarters of it because it just wasn’t enjoyable. To make matters worse, I regret eating what I did, as I'm now dealing with mild food poisoning. I would definitely recommend steering clear of this place! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I feel completely ripped off! The chips were overcooked and tasted stale, and the rice chips seemed like they had been cooked twice and were overloaded with salt. Two out of the three meals were so disappointing that we ended up throwing most of them away. The only redeeming dish was the duck in plum sauce, which was actually good. However, I will not be returning to this restaurant.
Ordered food at 7.35pm eventually got at 9.25pm, definitely not impressed will not be ordering from them again. We are on holiday had leaflet left in our house so thought would be recommended, no way will be mentioning this in the compliments book where we are staying. Worst takeaway we have ever had they couldn't even get the right address!
Sorry to say, we wished we had read the reviews before. Delivery does take a long time. It was 2 hours on a weekday (driver commented it wasn’t a busy evening) so very disappointed to have to chase several times to check where it was. Food was ok, neither amazing nor terrible but certainly not worth the wait. We won’t be using again.
First time ordering from this place. Absolutely awful! Worst Thai curry I have ever had. So much sugar it was inedible! Not creamy at all like a Thai curry should be. Also had duck pancakes which also did not taste right either pretty sure the duck was off. Will not be ordering from these again. Horrible Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
