We went to Waraji for a birthday dinner and it was quite the experience. The menu is extensive offering both regular items and seasonal items. The sushi offerings are so extensive they have their own menu. Not able to decide on so many types of sushi, sashimi, and specialty rolls, we opted to pick a sampler for table share. Service 10/10 without a doubt. Our waitress was super sweet and the owner was so incredibly friendly and made sure we were taken care of. They?ve also recently done some renovations and extended the dining area. However, I wasn?t really a fan of the sushi! I?ve been here a couple times previously. They had a whole other menu just for sushi before. Not sure what happened to that? I personally didn?t feel like the sushi was fresh and just not tasty. Also felt the prices were a little high. It also took awhile to get our meal. I want so badly to love this place because of the service and proximity to my house. Will try again down the road.
I?ve been to Waraji a few times now and have never been disappointed. My go to is the ?sushi for two? and it is the perfect amount to leave you feeling satisfied. You can tell that their selections of fish are great and super fresh, and the miso is some of the best in Raleigh. I went last night and it was hands down the best quality of fish I?ve had from them. Will always recommend Waraji
Ok sushi with a higher price even with lunch menu and one of the most expensive rice I ever had (a small bowl ???? for $4.5???? yikes ???? . They seem to expanded their space with better decor. Guess someone had to pay for that????. Mackerel appetizer was more reasonably priced and was good

Amazing food, amazing presentation, cannot say enough great things about this place. If you?re looking for authentic Japanese cuisine, look no further. We ordered sushi, but the menu had many traditional favorites can?t wait to go back! Hands down best sushi in the Triangle!

Sushi is ok, best sushi in Raleigh is a bold claim... Some rolls are much better than others. Don't get the beef and green onion, it's not good.
Most authentic Japanese food I have had in North Carolina. Service was awesome and food perfect.
