A few years ago, I left the worst review I've ever written for this place, but I decided to give it another chance. This time, the experience was completely different. It was the best meal I've had at a restaurant in a long time. The grouper was fantastic, and the wine was fabulous—especially the Quilt Stitch Count if you enjoy fruity reds. I can't emphasize enough how different this visit was compared to my first. This evening's experience was exactly what I had hoped for during my initial visit. I'll definitely be back. I'm not sure if there's been a change in management or the chef, but I was extremely pleased and can't say enough good things about my experience.
I came here while in Knoxville for work. The food was amazing. All of the dishes had awesome presentation and the flavors were well balanced. I had such a nice time here that I came back the next evening. The first night I had the Beef Medallions. They were cooked amazingly and I wish I had taken a photo. The second night, I had the ahi tuna and a house salad. The salad was also very aesthetically pleasing and the greens were fresh. It felt especially welcoming that the owner sat next to me on my second visit. We had a wonderful conversation and she even helped me make a business contact. Thank you so much! Highly recommend!
The beef medallions were so enticing that I completely forgot to take a picture before devouring them! They were incredibly tender and flavorful, beautifully presented alongside mashed potatoes and green beans. It truly was the ideal meal! Candace, the owner, is warm, friendly, and welcoming, just like her staff. My server was attentive and listened well, offering great recommendations. This excellent service alone guarantees my return! And I must mention, the Espresso Martini is the perfect finishing touch to a wonderful dinner!
I really enjoy the variety of wines available here. Sierra does a fantastic job of making recommendations. I make it a point to visit every time I'm in town. While the setting seems like it should be more intimate, it's not—you should be ready to engage in conversations with the neighboring tables. We decided to try this place since Little Bangkok was closed. There was only one server managing the floor, and it wasn’t very busy, yet our lunch took over an hour to arrive, and the service was disappointing. I wouldn't recommend it, especially if you're short on time for a meal. We ordered nachos and flatbread, which aren’t complicated dishes. Meal type: Lunch. Price per person: $10–$20.
The atmosphere was delightful. We dined outdoors, where there were plenty of hanging space heaters. The food and drinks were both innovative and delicious. We look forward to returning to sample more dishes from the menu.
I've been here twice and had Sierra as my bartender both times. She has been nothing short of amazing! She's very knowledgeable and has a charming personality. The wine selection is fantastic, and the food is delicious.
