The cozy atmosphere is enhanced by a real fire, and there are spacious outdoor seating areas by the lake. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place.
The restaurant offers gluten-free beer from Hahn (Tirrils), but the staff didn't appear to be very knowledgeable about gluten-free options. They only had one gluten-free dish available, which was trout, and one dessert, Eton Mess.
Called in for lunch after a boat trip, lovely pub, in a beautiful location. The staff were very friendly, and the service was exceptional, never been served so fast anywhere. I'd love to return as a hotel guest sometime.
