I used to love this place but today I called in and asked if I could have a crab cake sandwich. The lady acted like I was a complete idiot for asking than I said what sandwich is your favorite. She said i don’t know whatever you like. “I guess I’ll get a foot long with everything on it”. She asked “half or whole” I said a foot long so I guess a whole. Than I said a foot long so I guess a whole, I guinely asked if she was having a bad day because this place usually has great service and she said no… I also asked for a two piece dark. The lady acted like I was an idiot for asking what sides they have… I came her twice a week since I’ve moved here and have never been treated so poorly by angry...
I found Watson's while taking the 340 detour on our way back to WVA, and I'm so glad we decided to stop in. The food/portions were great. We had our dog with us, which was no problem since they offer outdoor seating as well. The cheese steak sub was amazing!! We have lived in WVA for the last 20 yrs, and had never found a truly great cheese steak sub in our area, so we will definitely be returning to Watson's!!
Get it very frequent call ahead is the best, just call in your order they’ll give you an estimate time and you go pick it up. Food is always good. Good prices too get a lot for what you pay for very nice to have in town and they have just about everything on the menu, customer service is always good. Kid-friendliness: They have chicken tenders and other things that most kids would love
I had to make a visit while spending time with my family, as our daughter absolutely loves the hot turkey sandwich. This place is famous for their fried chicken as well. They were quite busy, so it’s important to be patient when calling. I had the California wrap along with a house salad, and it was definitely worth the wait!

Great local place, we had the fried chicken, was delicious, fresh ,hot and crispy not oily at all. Homemade Mac salad was delicious. Also had the grilled all beef hot dog, best I've had in years. The hush puppies are amazing. Parking: Parking off street in back, gravel lot, watch out motorcycles.

Mac and cheese was a little disappointing but other then that pretty solid.
