Chose to go to the Wattle only because it was close to home - never again!!!There were 9 of us visiting on state of origin night so it certainly wasnt busy. I ordered chicken snitz w veg and pepper gravy on tge side. The meal was just warm - chicken deep fried for too long - didnt look appealing to eat at all - the potato mash nearly cold and unsalted.Three others had beef burgers all were for adults - these were served in oval plastic type baskets like u would have at a kids Christmas Party. They 2 didnt look appertising. Fettucini carbonarra was swimming ib sauce and the fettucinni was dry on the top. Service was great however.Definitely needs a chef whose presentation of food is much bett...
My husband and I went to Wattle Hotel for lunch on Saturday 04/03/17 without the kids, which doesn't happen very often, so we were a bit excited and jumped online to decide where to go. We checked out menus from many places and decided to go to the Wattle Hotel because they had Braised Beef Cheek (which my husband wanted) and Pork Belly (which I wanted). They sounded delish. However, when we got there and read the menu neither of the dishes were on the menu. So disappointed, we just left and went where we go regularly. I can't comment on the quality of food because we never ate. The kids playground looked great so might come back another time when we are looking for somewhere to take the kid...
Saturday evening we decided to try the Wattle Hotel for dinner and have a couple drinks without our children, so we called the courtesy bus so we didn't have to drive and we can both enjoy the evening. The Atmosphere was great, but the line to order our meals took agers, so we decided to have a drink or 2 before we finally got to order. But once we got our meals they were amazing, and we will be going back again for sure.
Great venue for family with young children as great playground with big playground like the bunnings ones with tubular slides. We had pulled pork burger , pasta special and child's meal for$46. For three meals. Good wine selection. Brought our own birthday cake which wasn't a problem.

The food is amazing. Plenty of options to choose from. Kids play area. The only down fall is the long lines to order your meal. Only one person taking orders and drinks at the same time which takes too long.
Nice play area for the kids. Love the lunch deals, air conditioning is strong on warm days. Great place for chit chat and free wi fi too!
First visit and had a great time. Food was great value for money and the staff were very helpful. Look forward to returning soon
We found the Staff and food was very good and was a reasonably good price overall would recommend it will go back

Nice cheap meal. Good place for our granddaughter to play. Staff were friendly. Service good. Will go again.
