Really fun spot, there's so much to do here. You can play volleyball, kayak, paddle board, have a drink, have a bite or just take a swim. The springs are beautiful. It's a laid back vibe and everyone is just having a good time. Their bartenders are friendly. They have a wide selection of beer and wine. I loved their frozen mango strawberry margarita with sangria. Very refreshing on a hot day. Their food was surprisingly good. Just a 20 minute drive north of Orlando sits this local 's paradise for chillin out. Affectionately called the Red Neck Riveria Wekiva Island is an instituition located on a scenic tip of the Wekiva River. Activities include paddleboards, kayaking, swimming, volleyball and corn hole. Try a new tap beer from their large selection and relax riverside in the many Adirondeck chairs. We are so grateful to have Wekiva Island close by. We love renting a cabana and spending the day on the river. Service in the cabanas is always exceptional. Even if you don't rent a cabana, there is a lot of seating along the river and picnic tables under the pavilion. Bring your own food and drinks (no outside alcohol allowed) or buy from their food truck and bar. Appreciate the air hose for filling up floaties, kayaks, paddle boards, etc. arrive early because the parking lot does fill up.

Wekiva island is a busy fun peaceful place to bring the family and enjoy the water. It is Florida at its best. Locals often come to take a dip, have a drink, and enjoy time in one of the most beautiful places in the state. The food trucks provide great food and the bar has some refreshing drinks both leaded and unleaded. I parked I didn't have to pay but there was a license plate, perhaps because it was weekday. It wasn't full. It has sand court for Voley, lake shower, bar and some foodtruck. Sunchairs, a little game. Armchairs and sunny. On the day there is no live music. But the place is very tasty. Super Vale

It was absolutely beautiful you have nature all around you and the water is cold but it is so refreshing I didn't think I would get in and once I did it took my breath almost but within 3 minutes it was just so refreshing and beautiful and the Cabana was absolutely marvelous

What a great place to chillax. The people are friendly if you need them to be. Or you can just grab something to eat and drink and hang out by the river with the people you came with. Definite laid back Florida vibe.

Nice relaxing atmosphere, wouldn’t go swimming in those waters very dark great for gators, but nice to kayak, canoe or paddle board carefully. Beautiful place with a bar and food spot!
