great disappointment. four friends and I went to the wes' rib house on Sunday. there were only two more tables that were occupied and this should have been a sign for us. we haven't been there for several years, and the food and service are not what they were earlier. our food came in several stadia: we got our appetizers (medicine), then our chips (Schaffel frits that were in order), then 10 minutes later, four of us got our sandwiches. the waitress claimed it was the first day of the cook, and he would have missed the fifth sandwich. Wes' Rib House disappoints. The meal was a disappointment. The pulled pork had no consistency. I expect my pulled meat to have chunks of meat in it, this was just mush, and it had salad in it (small chunks of carrot and other green stuff). The chicken was burnt on the outside, and cold on the inside. The waitress apologized and brought me another chicken, which was burnt on the outside and warm in the middle. My wife got the ribs which were burnt on the outside, tough, dry and chewy. The beans were sour (too much vinegar? The cornbread was great. the house of wes' rib go somewhere else. Well, in over 5 years had not been with whom, so I thought I would try it with my son satt. I thought it was a waste of hard earned $, he was in order with his meal, I wasn't. ordered her fingersucker for $12.00, chose my two (2) meat (bef ham) and went very disappointed. War früher so gut. Dieser Ort war früher legendär. Erstaunlicher BBQ mit Menschen, die von New Jersey oder New York auffahren, um es zu probieren. Irgendwann in den letzten zehn Jahren wurde es mit einem komischen westlichen Thema umgestaltet und die Qualität sank stetig. Nun, ich würde es mit Chilis oder Applebee, außer teurer und nicht so sauber, gleich eingestuft. Oh Mann, vermisse ich den alten Ort!

Used to be so good. This place used to be legendary. Amazing BBQ with people driving up from New Jersey or New York just to taste it. At some point in the past ten years, it was remodeled with a weird Western theme and the quality steadily declined. Now, I'd rank it about equal with Chili's or Applebee's except more expensive and not as clean. Oh man, do I miss the old place!
Previously great. the chile and cornbread were good. but the ripening were terrible! understated and hard. the koleslawin was bad to say. huge disappointment. I was surprised when we wore up and it was so empty. I understood after we ate why it was so empty
Wes' Rib House in Providence is located in one of those neighborhoods that you'd swear was the hideout of some underworld crime boss. The real crime is the food. In spite of their decade-old Best of Rhode Island awards, the barbecue just isn't good here

My wife and I came here for dinner, and were truly disappointed.
