We stopped at the Gyro place, far left corner of the market, and enjoyed the most delicious, large gyro! Wow the house tzatziki sauce was so good! Makes you want to bottle it up and bring it home. So good. We got the regular size Gyro and it was big. We ended up having lunch again the next day with the leftovers. All the produce looked fresh, we got some local strawberries ??. This was genuinely one of the nicest markets I’ve ever been to! Very good prices on a huge variety of specialty and regular items. The produce looked almost too good to be real. A last stop before headed home on a weekend trip was perfect to bring home a lot of goodies. Delicious cannolis and pepperoni bread from Theresa’s bakery, perfect scratch made pasta from Ohio city pasta, home made beef jerky and more!! I’m considering making the trip from Pittsburgh more often just to stop here again!
I picked up some stuffed grape leaves and stuffed cabbage for lunch, and they were delicious. My son enjoyed a meat pie, which was also very good. This is a fantastic spot for beef jerky and a variety of baked goods. There's a stand in the outdoor produce area that offers the best dried fruit. They provide free samples, and we ended up buying some—it makes an excellent snack for my son at college.
It's exactly what they call it, a hot mess.? It tastes like poverty. Took me back to my horrible childhood. Service was okay. But the food, I'd rather eat a bag of ramen noodles with no flavor packet. ???? Please don't get this item if you decide to eat here. This was garbage. That's exactly where it went. In the trash. Oh, I did eat the delicious toast, though.

Great dinner. Breakfast served all day, and also lunch. Cornbread waffle and chicken was fantastic. Eggs Benedict and kilbasa hash (on weekends) also great. Daughter had the burger and it was great (came with bacon). Server, Kathleen, was the perfect personality and the service was great. Highly recommended- might be a little wait, but worth it.
This was a pretty cool place. Fruit and vegetable vendors, bakers with fresh bread and yummy looking desserts, fish mongers, cheese seller's and meat vendors with sausages and other products. We bought fresh bread, sausages and canoli. Parking was free for the first 90 minutes. We were there about an hours because everyone had free samples.
This is a fun place to show the kids dead animal parts, get a sandwich, and to use a gross public bathroom. Think a dirtier more used Pikes market with less sights to see nearby. 90 minutes free parking is nice and a few good places with mediocre service close by for lunch/drinks. All in all, a good way to make a story to tell.
Classic diner atmosphere. Don't expect gourmet meals. Delicious, classic dishes good price! The food is a great breakfast and lunch. Joined with the side of the historic Westside Market. A great morning stop for a quick bite. The Monte Cristo and eggs and bacon.

Love the fresh food, produce, local people and market. Amazing place to visit and just do much to see. Well definitely be a regular although we live on the east side.
I love food markets and this one was excellent. So many amazing choices. Everything we tried was delicious.
