I stumbled upon this charmingly little kebap shop whilst out on a long walk with my Fox Terrier, Sharon. Feeling rather peckish and never having had a kobab before I was tempted in by the neon sign, which simply said 'Open '. It was a blustery day, I had walked thus far from Macclesfield, having got lost on my way to the river. Anyway, being COVID compliant I decided to go in. Having never tried a kepab before I plumped for the Doner-of-the-day. It was truly divine, a work of art I would say. I strongly recommend the Donor-of-the-dead. Sharon and I were so full we could hardly walk. Thankfully, Colin was passing in his new Fiat ButtyBox.
I ordered the mixed meat and chips for £7.00. When I got home, I found that there was a lot of donner meat but hardly any chicken, and the chips were over-fried and then re-fried, making them rock hard and disgusting. It would be better to wait a few extra minutes for a decent chip rather than receiving poor quality food. It's been a while since I last visited, and I was hoping for improvement, but unfortunately, the quality is still lacking.
Horrible staff. Indifferent bullies, the Donna 'loaf ' sits in the window of the shop front all day, often in direct Sunlight while the Donna slab melts in the intensified heat. Great for the drunks at 12.30 am onwards.How they got a 5* rating God knows. .It 's not the Whaley Kebab House, its the WB crime den.
Ordered tonight from Whaley Kebab. Had the 8oz gourmet burger. Sadly so far from gourmet it’s not true. Burger was absolutely full of tough gristly meat couldn’t even eat it. Ordered 4 piece of chicken and a garlic bread with cheese . Ordered the chicken no chips due to allergy and a thin base garlic bread . When it arrived chips were with the chicken so had to throw that away. Opened the garlic bread and found it was thick crust . All in all a complete waste of £14
The chips were double fried and terrible, they were hard and impossible to eat. The mixed meat dish was not worth the price, as one of the meats was not properly proportioned. This was the worst meal I have had in a long time and I will not be returning.
What happened to Whaley Kebab? I ordered tonight. The burger had no sauce despite requesting sweet corn relish, the onion rings were burnt, the hash browns were ruined, and the entire meal was cold. I would give zero stars if possible.
Excellent choice, and very efficient service. During these difficult times, it was just lovely to pretend we were going out for a meal. Very good portion size. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
World famous Whaley kebab house! You will not be disappointed at all, my favourite is the bbq chicken pizza! Delicious.
