The Rambler Inn - Tisch reservieren

Out of the 2 pubs in the village this has always been our favourite. Perfectly located for any stay in Edale, lovely choice of Ales and beers, standard pub grub at a reasonable price. Efficient and friendly staff. Feel like your in a different world when your in the beer garden on a warm summers evening, stunning scenery. Something to note, gets extremely busy around early evening for food, expect a sizeable wait if dining. Service: 5

The restaurant was clearly very busy on the sunny day we visited, with limited table space and inevitable lines at the bar. However, this pub is perfectly located for starting or ending a walk, offering delicious food and quality beer. Despite the crowds, the staff were friendly and efficient. It's always our top choice for a drink when in Edale. Rooms: 5.

The restaurant was pleasant, but I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome when, on a slow day, I had only one drink and overheard the bartender comment that it took me half an hour to finish half a pint. With no other customers present, I didn't feel respected as a customer. I decided to go to a better pub up the street. Service: 2 Location: 5 Ambiance: Quiet.

Lovely setting for a stay over. A small group of us came up to walk the hills. Shared a twin room which was a bit small but perfectly functional, clean and well appointed. Bar and restaurant were great. Wide selection of food and beers. Would thoroughly recommend it. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Quiet

I cannot comment on the rooms since I did not stay there, but the restaurant has a good selection of beers and excellent service from the staff. It is a great place to have a pint and a meal after exploring Edale. I would rate the service and location both as a 5 out of 5.

Food drinks: Lovely 2 pints of Farmers Blonde shandy straight down the neck after a 10 mile walk round to the summit of Grindslow Knoll on the hottest day of the year, very tasty
