Whispers has even my favorite place to meet friends for many years. But the last two times, a week apart, were very disappointing. Prices have been removed from the menu board and are not even provided if you ask when ordering. I was told both times that if I wanted to know the prices I had to go online and visit their website. Ridiculous! They have raised their prices significantly. Although the food is still very good, the attitude of the people at the counter was arrogant and rude each time. When we walked in and saw the beautiful menu mural, we thought we were in for a great breakfast but we were proven wrong. It started with the worst chai latte I've ever had. Both of our crepes were underwhelming. The peaches in my crepe were like the kind from a can and had a fridge-y taste. They were also freezing cold and hard to eat. The only part of our meal we liked were the fries. At least the staff was decently friendly. Parking: Shared parking lot
The Belmont was quite tasty. I recommend it. The portions are good and food came out quickly. I appreciate their willingness to modify my order.I was disappointed with a side of avocado that had bruises in it and needed surgery in multiple places to remove them (see pic) as well as giving a jam that had a hole in the top. ? Great food! You do order at the counter, so that's why just three stars for service. It is a low key breakfast place atmosphere very informal. Good for kids. Parking: The restaurant is in a little strip mall with plenty of parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy in from parking lot.

Ordered eggs Benedict with potatoes...the potatoes were dry, overcooked and had excessive salt and pepper...it seems like we're sitting on the pan all morning after like left over from breakfast.the egg Benedict had water and the portions of mushrooms ? way to little.

This is a typical American-style creperie featuring the usual offerings like crepes, waffles, and pancakes. They also have a pleasant patio area for outdoor seating. As for parking, there are a good number of spots available right out front.
