Just had a very disappointing meal. The pub wasn't overly busy but we still had to wait 45 mins for 3 meals. One choice was fish and chips for my 99 year old mother. It came with fries and not chips, as advertised in the menu. My mother has tasted many fish chips in her lifetime and she said it was the worst she'd ever tasted, her words absolutely tasteless. My meal came with a globby jug of gravy which had obviously been sat for some time. My pie was advertised as short crust pastry but it was puff pastry. We came across this little hidden gem by accident, trying to find somewhere new for lunch, the food, the staff and the atmosphere was spot on, we where made to feel welcome has soon as we entered the pub, nothing was to much for the staff, they made us feel so welcome, we would definitely recommend the white bull to everyone and anyone, and plan for a revist has soon as we can get back into the area, please keep up the good work and if your in the area , please visit it, you won't be disappointed, thank you again
Saturday 20th July 2024 This old-fashioned styled village locals Pub isca gem It has a lovely ambuance inside the pub, a great outside drinking area Lovely friendly staff on in here today, and there were 3 real ales on which were all in fine fettle This is an essential visit for real ale drinkers. The real ales at this restaurant are very good. The interior decoration is lovely and the atmosphere is lively. Although we didn't eat there, the portion sizes looked generous. We will definitely be returning soon for dinner.

Beautiful village pub with lovely staff. Fantastic atmosphere and the food we chose this evening was excellent. Highly recommended to our friends and family to visit.
The restaurant offers excellent beer and delicious food in a welcoming atmosphere. It is the perfect place to relax for an hour or two (or three).
I have fond memories of visiting this restaurant with my parents when they had a caravan at Willow Grove.
