Keep in mind my family has been eating at White Spot (albeit not this location) since I was a child, so this is serious comfort food for me. In fact, this is the first restaurant I've chosen to go to since I moved back to BC from Saskatchewan less than a week ago. From the reviews, I was prepared for it to be less than stellar and perhaps not the way I remembered it. But it was actually absolutely fantastic. The service was good and fast and the food was heavenly. I enjoyed every single bite. I remember that when I lived in BC before and used to eat at White Spot, some menu items were rather mediocre, but I was pleased to see that my favourites were still on the menu and I have always found...
I gave this restaurant 4 stars but the food gets 5 stars. it a clean well kept restaurant, staff were pleasant and inviting. I would say my eggs benny was the best I have ever had and I eat Eggs Benny everywhere. My biggest issue these days for most places is the lack of staff. Our waiting staff were clearly run off their feet and did their best to provide good service but when you have more tables then you can handle some things get missed (had to ask for coffee, did not get offered more smashed potatoes as those were bottomless). For a more upscale restaurant I expect more attention. Again not the wait staffs fault clearly they were short staffed and did a fantastic job given their circums...
Relied on previous experiences in other locations but should not have! Firstly, had special drink for the day - only were out of ingredient that made it special. ? Then had absolutely no selection of Amber or darker ales ( offered a pale ale they had on tap ?) 1 of our party asked for gluten free bun on burger and side salad. Cost was extra for the bun. Came with fries (which waitress had told us were fried in oil with breaded items). In early (4:30 ish) but still had long wait for food. Place is dirty. Very dirty. Had we noticed that before we ordered, we wouldn't have. Will not go back.
WhoA...are we understaffed ? I called for take out phone rings til it disconnects me, so i drive there, waitress sees me standing there, doesn't approach me. Ten minutes later, the manager finally approaches me and someone else behind me and helps us. I know they're busy but come on..............on the plus side, food was good. I ordered the shrimp sandwich which is my favorite, it was totally tasteless. I was expecting seafood sauce with mayo, but it was not there, I had to put some ketchup on it to give it some flavour. Fries were good as usual. Very disappointed, we always try to have one visit t a White Spot on our trips.
Haven't seen a White Spot in Calgary in ages. Was nice, clean and fairly quiet. Our server Sharon was awesome, and the food did not disappoint. Had the fish and chips, and I haven't had them as good as this since I was able to go to the UK. We will try and go again before we head home.
Super friendly service. Burgers and fish 'n chips were all good. Our kids have their favourites here and always know what to order. Restaurant could have been a little cooler as it was a warm day outside.
Great stop between Kelowna and Kamloops. The usual White Spot menu, and the restaurant is right beside 97 with parking in the shopping center lot. I enjoy White Spot. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This is the first time that we have had anywhere near good service at this location! Our visit today will have us coming back all because of our fabulous server!
