We are traveling through Scotland and found this gem of a place where I finally had the chance to sample gluten free battered local fish and chips with mushy peas. The meal was very generous and the batter crispy and light. The best meal so far in Scotland! If you are looking for a good variety of gluten free options you couldn’t ask for much more. Staff very friendly and accommodating.
Staying near by and after a long walk popped in to have a look and a pint. What a friendly and welcoming pub (including the locals) with a lovely selection of drinks. One quite visit turned into a few drinks over 3 days and a lovely Sunday meal. The dogs even had a lovely Nessie bowl to drink out of and received free biscuits. Log fire was warming after all our walks too.
We booked a table for dinner the first night of our honeymoon, we were staying at the nearby Wildside lodges. Only a five minute walk up the road to the hotel so very handy. Very friendly staff, great service and amazing food! Couldn’t fault it. We then booked again for our last night and yet again amazing food and service! We will definitely return, highly recommend!
We visited here for a meal while staying locally (there is very little in the area so choices are limited) and had a really nice meal for an okay price. The staff were absolutely lovely and the perfect balance of attentive yet not intrusive. There was ample parking, and it’s dog friendly as well. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Food was excellent the service was great friendly atmosphere very welcoming. Menu had special on weekends with some great standard Scottish fare. A very local pub atmosphere where friend gather daily.
We stayed at the Wildside Lodges and one night walked up to Whitebridge Hotel for a meal, it’s dog friendly so could take ours with us. Bowl of water and biscuit for the fluffy ones!
Had a good meal but it was surpassed by the best brownie pudding in Scotland. Great service and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

"Liver and onions was creamy and tasty. This is a quiet small hotel restaurant and a very nice menu. The sticky toffee pudding was unfortunately store bought and just average but enjoy the main course."
