I stopped by Fresh Healthy Fast a couple of days ago to check out their new storefront. It’s a grab-and-go style place, and a nice and quick way to grab a plant-based bite in the fairly spare NKC area. I bought the Tom Yum ramen noodles to eat outside at the bar, and those noodles truly lived up to their name! YUM. I ended up grabbing another container to go, and I shared it with my girlfriend, who also loved the food. A must-have for plant-based people that work or live in the NKC area.
The food is straightforward yet delicious, highlighting the natural flavors of the vegetables without overwhelming them. Each dish is prepared in a meal prep style and requires heating. The restaurant offers microwaves and disposable utensils for dining in. However, it's worth noting that they rely heavily on single-use plastics due to their service approach.
Very clean interior and friendly staff. This is a grab and go service with premade meals. You can heat up your food at the restaurant or take it home. Everything is very clearly labeled and there were many options to choose from. Pretty affordable as well!
Everyone is very friendly. They have a mission to feed one million homeless annually. You can sign up for a plant based cooking class and learn weekly a new recipe . The menu changes 4 times a year and offers 27 30 new dishes each time.
Super cute and modern atmosphere and a great spot to pickup a quick vegan bite to eat (grab and go or sit down). Focuses on mostly whole foods plant based and has gluten free options galore! I will definitely be frequenting this place!
I've been eating here almost daily since it opened and love the freshness and variety. They have succeeded in making plant based foods BETTER than the traditional unhealthy versions. Makes it easy...
