I don’t get to go out to eat on my own much anymore so I get really excited to go out by myself. I saw this place and thought I’d give it a try. At first it was busy but not packed and it got busier as I was there. I was able to taste a soup and the staff were friendly. I order my food, I got the kale Caesar and the curry soup. I waited for around 15 minutes and they come out with my food packed up nicely to go. I said mine wasn’t to go and it was kind of awkward and then they offered to get me a plate and for me to stay if I wanted… So if I wanted to stay then I would have to awkwardly unpack my food and then repack it when I’m ready to go? There were also people waiting outside at this tim...
I was very impressed with Wild Pear from the start. Even during the lunch rush, it only took about 10 minutes to get seated. Our server, Brooke was friendly, attentive, and made great suggestions for us to try. We needed some substitutions because we did not like any spicy ingredients. No problem! My BLT was loaded. No skimping here. I truly could only finish half of the sandwich. The hubby's soup was a winner and he loved the pizza. Everything was made fresh in site. We were stuffed and too full for what sounded like delicious desserts. The prices were more than fair. We will definitely make the Wild Pear part of our regular restaurant rotation when we are in Salem.
Absolutely DELICIOUS! I am a wedding planner and had the privilege of working with Wild Pear's incredible catering team this past weekend. They were organized, efficient, and catered to the needs and desires of the client. They went above and beyond in their execution and teamwork and I would be more than happy to work alongside them again in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Had my first bahn mi there. I liked it, but not a big fan of pork belly. I ate there with my partner for capitol pride. Great place to people watch and they made special pride cocktails for the event. I had a pink glittery drink and my partner got a 5 color one. Impressive.
We've eaten lunch here 5 or 6 times and everything has been excellent. Hsven't made it to dessert yet but they look scrumptious! Always good service but can be a wait. Arriving about 1:30 you can get right in. It can be a bit noisy!
Everything was great from the reservation for 9, to the menu for our group, to the seating and service, to the incredible food, and patience with our large group. I highly recommend Wild Pear.
Unique menu filled with a diverse range of options. Everything from simple tuna of whole grain breat to Asian fusion. Loved everything.
Food and service was great only downside was a bit busy and loud, but thats because everyone in town knows to go there.
