Two former coworkers and I meet monthly for dinner to catch up on life. Our meals were very good. The restaurant was very busy, so it was a bit loud to easily carry on a conversation. Aside from that, our server asked us 6 times Is everything okay? , Do you need anything? . After we had paid our bills ~50 minutes after our arrival , the wait staff started giving us sideways glances. I thought the industry standard is 90 minutes for fine dining establishmens. We tipped 20%. Also, I don 't appreciate the SURCHARGE on guest bills for any reason. Overhead increases should be reflected in menu prices. This seems similar to airlines charging fees for each service. There are many restaurant choices...
This is a really nice wildfire location. The service is top notch. I went here recently for a meal with coworkers and they were able to accommodate our whole group. For dinner, I ordered a rib eye with fries and a glass of wine. The steak was slighlty over medium which was a bit of a let down as was the seasoning! It was kind of bland, and I expected more. The fries were ok, but nothing special. The pinot I had was good. For dessert I had the chocolate chip cookie with ice cream which was amazing. Just as I remembered the last time I had it!
I took mom to wildfire on Erie in Chicago in 2021. The place SUCKED. Mom was flabbergasted at the lack of attention paid to us all. Now I accompanied my son in law to this wildfire for his birthday, and....it was worse! NEVER AGAIN. WILDFIRE is overrated and overpriced . Do yourself a favor. STAY AWAY! Had a delicious filet mignon wellington (only Fridays and Saturdays). The crab cakes are our go-to appetizers. The steaks were cooked to our liking and the pastry was crisp. The meat literally melted in our mouths. Fantastic, will be back! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
