I was so excited to take my mother to this restaurant. I had been bragging about the amazing French dip prime rib sandwich... usually medium rare and delicious. Served to us cold... cold au jus..cold sandwich.. cold fries. And the meat well done skrids..nothing like the dream sandwich I had had a few times. The French onion soup also not like before. Soup itself great but cheese on top was not browned. I cannot imagine complaining about too much cheese... but it was an inch thick and hard to get to soup. Again..not the norm. Great service.
I was expecting 5 star service and we got 2.5 . Half the reason I went to Wildfire is for the experience of a high end restaurant , it was mediocre at that. There was nothing special about it . The food was good , I can’t say anything bad about it . When you go to an expensive restaurant you want to get what you paid for . I wouldn’t go back , there are plenty of other steak houses that deliver the entire experience.
The chop salad was superb, and the crab cakes Benedict was a hit—my friend raved about the sauce! My only critique is that the coconut shrimp could have been cooked a bit more. Overall, this is definitely a restaurant to consider for lunch or dinner, especially for special occasions. The manager even came by to say hello, which shows that Wildfire truly prioritizes customer service at its finest.
As always, the service at Wildfire is exceptional, whether at the bar, the host stand, or from the waiting staff. The food was excellent and cooked just as I ordered. This is definitely one of the best restaurants I’ve dined at in the DC area.

Meal was unremarkable. Ordered the short rib special and they were tough. The mashed potatoes and vegetable were good. Our waitress rushed the meal and overall I will consider if I will ever go again
I visited the restaurant for a special celebration during restaurant week. The portions were generous, the service was outstanding, and the food was absolutely delicious!
The service was excellent, and the food was enjoyable. However, the prices are somewhat high compared to the portion sizes. The drinks are also on the pricier side.
Once again, the dining experience and service from Abe were outstanding. The petite filet was superb! Thank you!
