my wife and I have made a few Christmas shopping and on the way to home with us the williamsford pie company completely accidentally handed over. we quickly turned around and decided to check it. when the sign says...Pie company. they just have to stop. it was late in the afternoon when we visited and thought the selection of the baked could be slim. false acceptance. there were many tasty ones that were baked earlier on the day. we bought a badge from sourdough bread and a datum place. the date place was one of the best I ever had. my wife can be a little tasteful. We stopped by on our way to Tobermory and we are super happy we did. As soon as we saw a line up of cars, we knew we were in the right place. We got there around 9am and were still able to purchase a...small bag of day old goodies. They were delicious! We also bought 2 pies apple crumble and their famous raspberry cream pie. My goodness they were absolutely delicious! Highly recommended. We also bought a German brownie (what a deal for $2.75! And a cheese croissant (wish we bought more! . Loved this place. We will for sure come back for more goodies and maybe even lunch!
The most beautiful bakery items and wonderful coffees. Sandwiches available and bread by the loaf, fresh and so tasty. I just happen to be riding by and entered into a rustic cafe deeply scented in chocolate and oven baked goodie. The staff are the most...wonderful and dedicated people and simply take pride in their art. If you haven’t been here then your life’s fulfillment in void of this perfectly enchanting cafe.
I traveled 40 minutes to try their baked goods and was very disappointed. The blueberry peach cake had a bland taste and the butter cake was too syrupy. The croissants were good, but overall most of the items we purchased were not enjoyable. We tried everything and ended up throwing most of it out. It was a let-down. this is a must to see location and place on our trips family in owen sound. we usually eat lunch at their picnic tables next to the bakery, all lunchtime offers were great, we try something new every time we stop. we also have a good part of their baked were taking us home. the personal was always helpful and eager. u will do a favor by stopping and rehearsing
I went to my favorite bakery for some cakes and pecan butter tarts, but was left very disappointed. While the crust on the tarts was good, the filling was lacking pecans and mostly syrup. The strawberry rhubarb cake was dry and crumbly. Unfortunately, they were not as great as I had hoped for.
This little bakery does top notch stuff and our choice was the coconut macaroons. Large, moist and absolutely delectable. We stopped with the macaroons, but the tarts, pies and cinnamon buns were so tempting. The best part is we were served with a smile and...a very welcoming young lady!
